  • Jennifer Ellis-Campbell

    FOUNDER

    Jennifer Ellis Campbell is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in healthcare management, consulting, and benefits advisory. A graduate of Northern Illinois University, Jennifer is currently a Senior Benefits Advisor at Alight Solutions, where she leverages her expertise to guide organizations in optimizing their benefits offerings.
     
    Previously, Jennifer served as a Consulting Facilitator for Creative Computing, Inc., where she specialized in solutions that bridged technology and business needs. She also held the role of Cardiology Department Manager at Highland Park Hospital, overseeing critical departmental functions and team coordination.
     
    In addition to her professional career, Jennifer is an active community volunteer. She supports the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation through fundraising efforts and has contributed her event planning skills to Northwest Christian Academy and various private events. Balancing her professional and volunteer roles, she is also a dedicated “family manager and home economist,” prioritizing her family’s needs alongside her multifaceted career.

  • Jocelyn Heartley

    EXECUTIVE VP

    Jocelyn Heartley is a visionary leader and culture strategist with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. She brings a wealth of expertise in developing learning programs, organizational development, and change management to drive transformative business outcomes. Known for her commitment to fostering inclusive cultures, Jocelyn excels in growth management and delivering organizational excellence.


    A key focus of Jocelyn’s work is cultivating the next generation of leaders. Through her leadership programs, she equips ambitious professionals with the skills, leadership acumen, and industry insights essential for both personal and organizational success.


    Jocelyn holds an Executive MBA from Georgia State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. A lifelong learner, she has expanded her expertise with certifications in Leading Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion from Northwestern University and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Georgia State University.


    As co-founder and partner of Heartley Leadership Academy, established in 2024, Jocelyn advances impactful leadership development through facilitation, content creation, and workshops.


    For the past seven years, she has also mentored Executive MBA students, helping to shape the next generation of business leaders. Additionally, she serves as Advisor and Past Board President of the GSU EMBA Alumni Association and is an active member of Next OnBoard, promoting women’s leadership and empowerment.
    Outside of work, Jocelyn loves exploring the world with her husband, Al Heartley, immersing herself in diverse cultures through food, dance, and history.

  • Rick Rubenstein

    TREASURER

    Rick Rubenstein is a seasoned executive with over four decades of experience in the information technology sector. He founded RMS Technology Solutions in 1976 and led the company as CEO for 32 years, transforming it from a startup into a nationally recognized systems integrator specializing in digital surveillance and wireless video networks. Under his leadership, RMS developed the innovative PODSS video surveillance system and expanded its reach across The United States.

    Rubenstein holds an MBA in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago. 

    Beyond his corporate achievements, Rubenstein is dedicated to community service. He has volunteered for over twelve years with national non-profits, providing consulting services to both for-profit and non-profit organizations in the Chicago area. He mentors students in entrepreneurship at Stevenson High School and serves as a business mentor with SCORE Chicago. 

    Rick Rubenstein resides in Long Grove, Illinois, and is a proud father of two grown children and grandfather to two grandsons.

  • Bianca Merriwether

    WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR

    Bianca Merriwether is a multifaceted digital strategist with over 8 years of experience in IT and 4 years of hands-on expertise in website design and development for small businesses and brands. As the Website & Social Media Director for Memory Makers Foundation, she merges her technical knowledge with a heart for storytelling—building and maintaining our digital platforms to inspire, inform, and uplift.

    Bianca holds a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics from the University of Missouri (Mizzou) and a SQL certification from LaunchCode. She also works as a Freelance Database Engineer and Consultant, helping organizations streamline data systems and create user-focused reporting tools. Her background in backend systems and analytics strengthens her ability to make our online presence both beautiful and functional.

    Bianca is the founder of two businesses: a makeup artistry brand and a travel agency—both of which reflect her creative spirit and love for meaningful experiences. Her travel expertise plays an important role in helping Memory Makers plan once-in-a-lifetime trips for families facing late-stage cancer. She is also the co-founder of Ment4Life, a non-profit organization that advocates for long-term mentoring relationships between Black women and girls of all ages.

    Whether she’s coding, creating content, or coordinating travel dreams, Bianca leads with intention, empathy, and excellence—ensuring that every detail contributes to a deeper impact.
