Spring salmon fishing begins in April and winds down in June. Fishing for the spring runs can be slow but if you can hook a spring fish they are spectacular fighters. The river is very serene and there is always wildlife to see and enjoy. Fall salmon runs start towards the end of July and run through October. Fishing in the summer and fall the weather is usually very nice. Delbert fished in September and October. There are never any guarantees in fishing; all we can do is hope for trips like Delbert's.
